What is Ultima-Clen by Ultima Pharmaceuticals?

Ultima-Clen is a compact pack of clenbuterol from Ultima Pharmaceuticals: 50 pills, each containing 40 mcg of clenbuterol hydrochloride. The smaller box suits a single short course, which matches the way this compound is normally used, in limited blocks rather than for months on end.

The active substance is a beta-2 agonist. It mimics the action of adrenaline and noradrenaline on beta-2 receptors found in the airways, fat tissue and skeletal muscle. In some countries it is a prescription treatment for asthma, while in the United States it is not approved for people at all. In fitness circles, clenbuterol is classed as a fat burner, not as an anabolic.

Why do athletes use Ultima-Clen?

The main reason is fat loss during a diet. Clenbuterol raises the body's energy use and body temperature and makes fat stores more available as fuel. Because it has no androgenic action, it does not cause the masculinizing effects of steroids, which is one reason it is popular with women in physique sports. Men use it in the final phase of preparation, often alongside anabolic steroids.

Two points are often overlooked. First, the result depends on the diet; without a calorie deficit clenbuterol does little. Second, clenbuterol is on the anti-doping list, and even small amounts can be found in urine long after the last dose.

Dosage and course length

Reported regimens start low and climb slowly. Women often start at 10 to 20 mcg a day (a quarter or half of a tablet) and rarely go beyond 40 to 60 mcg. Courses usually last two weeks, followed by a pause of similar length, because the receptors stop responding as strongly. The total is kept to a few cycles. Possible side effects

Most of these effects are strongest in the first days and after each dose increase. High doses and long use put the heart at risk. People with heart disease, arrhythmia, hypertension, an overactive thyroid or anxiety disorders should not take clenbuterol, nor should pregnant or breastfeeding women.
