What is Stanos 10 by Pharmacom Labs?

Stanos 10 is an oral anabolic steroid from Pharmacom Labs. Every tablet carries 10 mg of stanozolol, the compound most people know by the old trade name Winstrol, and one pack holds 100 tablets. Stanozolol was developed in the early 1960s and was prescribed for decades, mainly for hereditary angioedema and certain types of anemia, before medical use declined.

Chemically, stanozolol is a derivative of dihydrotestosterone (DHT). It has a pyrazole ring fused to the A-ring of the steroid skeleton and a methyl group at carbon 17, which lets it survive the first pass through the liver when swallowed. Because it is built on DHT, it cannot be converted into estrogen and has no progestogenic action.

Possible side effects

As a 17-alpha-methylated oral, stanozolol puts stress on the liver: raised liver enzymes and, with long or heavy use, cholestasis are documented. Its effect on cholesterol is among the strongest of the common orals, with a sharp fall in HDL and a rise in LDL. Other reported problems include dry, aching joints, acne, accelerated hair loss in men prone to baldness, and suppression of natural testosterone production, which calls for a recovery plan after the cycle. In women it can deepen the voice, enlarge the clitoris and cause unwanted hair growth, and some of these changes are permanent. It is not for people with liver disease, heart disease or abnormal lipids, and not for anyone under 18.
