What is Rexogin by Alpha Pharma?

Stanozolol became world-famous in 1988, when it was detected in the winner of the men's 100 meters at the Seoul Olympics, who was then stripped of his gold medal. The same substance is the active ingredient of Rexogin by Alpha Pharma, an injectable stanozolol supplied as 10 ampoules at 50mg/ml. Stanozolol was originally marketed as Winstrol, and its injectable version as Winstrol Depot.

Chemically, stanozolol is a modified DHT molecule with a pyrazole ring and a 17-alpha-methyl group. It is not esterified, so it acts for a relatively short time after injection, and it cannot be converted into estrogen. Its anabolic effect is moderate and comes without water retention, which defines how it is used.

Effects of Rexogin

Rexogin is used where weight gain is unwanted but strength, density and definition matter. In contest preparation it helps produce a dry, grainy look with visible vascularity, provided body fat is already low. During a diet it helps preserve lean tissue. Athletes in speed and strength sports value it because it can improve power without adding much body weight. Stanozolol also reduces SHBG, and in a stack this may raise the share of free, active hormone from the other compounds.

It is not a bulking steroid: the scale may barely move, while the mirror and the performance numbers change.

Side effects

• suppression of natural testosterone;
• acne and hair loss in susceptible men;
• pain and swelling at the injection site, more common with water-based injections;
• virilization in women.

Rexogin is not suitable for people under 18, pregnant women, or anyone with liver or heart disease, high cholesterol or hormone-dependent tumors.
