What is Pharma Mix M by Pharmacom Labs?

Pharma Mix M is a two-ester drostanolone blend made by Pharmacom Labs. Instead of one form of the hormone, the oil contains both drostanolone propionate and drostanolone enanthate, with a combined strength of 300mg/ml in a 10ml vial. In other words, it is a "Masteron blend" built to combine a quick start with a longer action.

Drostanolone itself is an anabolic-androgenic steroid derived from dihydrotestosterone (DHT), with a methyl group added at the 2-alpha position. It does not aromatize to estrogen and is not 17-alpha-alkylated, so it is neither estrogenic nor notably hard on the liver. Historically, the propionate form was used in medicine against breast cancer in women, which reflects its anti-estrogenic character.

Why a blend, and what does it do?

The two esters behave differently. Propionate is short: it raises blood levels within a day or two but also fades quickly, which is why pure propionate is usually injected every other day. Enanthate is longer and keeps levels up for several days. Mixed in one vial, they give a fast onset and a steadier level with fewer injections than propionate alone.

The effects of Pharma Mix M are those of drostanolone in general. It is used in cutting cycles and before competitions to make muscles look harder, denser and more defined, to keep strength while calories are low and to protect muscle tissue. How is Pharma Mix M used?

Most users inject a blend like this two or three times per week into a large muscle. Weekly totals of about 300 to 600 mg are commonly reported, which equals 1 to 2 ml of this product. Cycles usually last 6 to 10 weeks and are timed toward the end of a diet. Drostanolone is normally stacked with testosterone; in contest preparation it is often combined with other dry compounds.

Because propionate can make injections sore for some people, rotating sites helps. The dose and duration of any cycle must be agreed with a qualified medical professional, and blood tests before and after are strongly advised.

Side effects of drostanolone

As a DHT-based steroid, drostanolone mainly causes androgenic side effects:

• accelerated hair loss in men predisposed to male pattern baldness;
• acne and oily skin;
• suppression of natural testosterone production;
• lower HDL cholesterol and possibly higher blood pressure;
• irritability or aggressive mood;
• in women, virilization such as voice change and facial hair.

It should not be used by people with prostate disease, heart disease or uncontrolled hypertension, by anyone under 18, or during pregnancy.
