What is Danabol DS 10 by Body Research?

Few names in bodybuilding are as recognizable as Danabol DS 10. The product from Body Research contains methandienone, also called methandrostenolone, the steroid that first reached pharmacies in 1958 under the brand Dianabol. It was one of the first anabolic steroids to spread widely among strength athletes, and in the decades since it has become a standard reference point for oral bulking compounds.

Every tablet of Danabol DS 10 contains 10 mg of the active substance. Methandienone is a modified testosterone: a double bond between carbons 1 and 2 shifts its balance toward anabolic activity, while a 17-alpha methyl group protects it from being broken down by the liver when swallowed. It is therefore an orally active, 17-alpha alkylated anabolic-androgenic steroid with a strong anabolic and moderate androgenic profile.

Side effects

Being 17-alpha alkylated, methandienone loads the liver, and enzyme levels often rise during a course. Its conversion to methylestradiol can lead to water retention, bloating, higher blood pressure and gynecomastia. Other possible effects are acne, oily skin, hair loss in predisposed men, worsened cholesterol values and suppression of natural testosterone production, which needs time to recover. Women risk virilization and normally avoid it. People with liver or heart disease, hypertension, or prostate or breast cancer should not use it.
