Aquaviron is an aqueous testosterone suspension produced by Abbott Healthcare Pvt. Ltd, India. Unlike most injectable testosterones, it contains no ester: fine particles of pure testosterone are suspended in water rather than dissolved in oil. The pack holds 12 ampoules with a concentration of 25 mg/ml, which is low compared with typical oil-based products.

Without an ester to slow it down, suspension testosterone is absorbed very quickly and cleared very quickly, so its activity lasts from hours to about a day rather than several days. That makes Aquaviron one of the fastest-acting forms of injectable testosterone.

What it is used for

Testosterone suspension produces the same effects as testosterone itself, but with a rapid onset. Athletes reach for it when they want:

• a quick lift in strength and training intensity;
